Captain Kenny Lewis was born and raised in the Florida Panhandle. He discovered the amazing fishing in the waters around Pensacola early on, fishing after school, on weekends and every opportunity he could. In addition to fishing, Kenny learned to hunt in the woods and swamps near Pensacola as well as boating, a necessity for an outdoorsman like Kenny growing up in Florida!
Kenny’s love for fishing led him to work as a commercial fisherman, eventually acquiring his USCG 100 ton Captain’s License. In addition to commercial fishing, Kenny kept fishing recreationally as well, fishing in tournaments for local Bass Clubs, the Alabama Deep Sea Fishing Rodeo, Shark and King Mackerel fishing tournaments among others and always did well!
All along Kenny wanted to own and operate his own fishing charter service so in 2014 he founded Panhandle Charters & Guide Service. His passion for fishing and boating skills have paid off. Today, Panhandle Charters & Guide Service is the top rated fishing charter in Pensacola on TripAdvisor with over 230 ‘Excellent’ reviews.
